I paint with pastels regularly, I have a painting partner who supports me, I have shown at several local events, and I exhibit my work at Creative Minds Art Gallery on Orcas Island, Washington. I've sold a few pieces and my style is evolving as my confidence grows.

The magic of art is waiting for you. Come to one of my workshops, below, and we will gently bump up against what is holding you back from the artistry that is born within you. We will use Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT Tapping, to reduce or clear your fears, perceptions, and blockages, whatever they might be. There is no previous experience required to attend--you don't have to be a painter, a writer, a sculptor, an actor, or a tapper, or even consider yourself an artist. All are welcome.
In fact, most who are interested in these workshops don't consider themselves an artist at all. They're a good craftsperson, a great cook and host, they're handy with tools or organizing everyday things in a pleasing way--but they're not "artists." That title belongs to those in smocks like I mentioned above.
What would it feel like if you WERE an artist, and if you acknowledged and owned that title, even if you did nothing more with your creativity than you are already doing? I believe we all are born with artistic abilities. Would you like to explore yours, and free your inner creator from that nagging voice inside that says you're not quite enough?
Workshops are three hours, during which we will check in with where we are now and talk about our wishes, dreams and desires for our artistry. I'm good at helping people identify what's holding them back, and then taking them through the tapping steps to rapidly and safely reduce their negativity. A Two-Day Retreat to Demystify and Up-level your Unique Artistry

In this two-day retreat on the beautiful Hood Canal, you'll be renewed by the beauty around you and the regeneration within you. We'll begin with place-holding and honoring your current status as an artist. Do you even consider yourself an artist? Are you more of a "craftsperson?" Have you ever wondered if you could sell your art? Do you have a sales history, but wish you could find a bigger audience or develop a new or deeper technique?
You don't have to be a professional to enjoy this retreat. If your artistry is at the hobby level, and you'd like to deepen your experience in some way, then this retreat is for you. All levels of artistry are welcome, because artistry itself is an ever-changing journey with no two steps looking exactly alike. By definition, the artist creates something new that hasn't been experienced before.
Additionally, you don't have to be a painter to attend and receive benefit from this adventure. Of course the classic artist is welcome, but again by definition, artistry is not a world of solid or unwavering boundaries. It is an organic experience of feeling and exploring, and the sharing of that message in whatever forms move you: paint, metal, performance, voice, musical instrument, pen, natural materials, collage, pottery, mosaic, ceramic, sculpture, wood, and more. If you love art and would like to better understand and to enhance your relationship to it, then come join us.
After place-holding, we'll take a magnifying glass to your hands, where your own "soul map" has been located since before you were born. Using the LifePrints Hand Analysis system, we'll dive into the artistry markers in YOUR hands so that you can relax into the continuum of Master Path and Student Path possibilities that are yours. Your artistry is like no one else's. Your hands are like no one else's. Putting the two together is powerful and enlightening. This knowledge will change how you think and feel about your creative talents.
Following hand analysis, we dig into our desire system to identify our whispered dreams for our artistic expression. Do you dream of teaching art? Of selling at a higher price point? At being shown in a gallery? Would it fulfill you to just know that your work has an impact? Whatever your dream is, we'll clarify it, write it down and then get really juicy: what emotions come up when you imagine your dream? What are the messages that convey a sense of "No, I can't have that," or "That's just not for me?"
Next we will use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping) and Matrix Reimprinting to lighten your load of negative self-talk. If you've never experienced tapping before, you'll be amazed at how simple it can be to lower your stress and trigger threshold. As a certified EFT Practitioner, I'll hold your hand--sometimes literally!--while you tap your worries away with this cutting edge, highly researched energy psychology tool.
